As a counsellor or support professional, your work is deeply meaningful and often complex. Alongside my counselling practice, I offer a dedicated, supportive supervision space to help you reflect on your client work, tend to your own hauora (well-being), and grow as a practitioner.
My Background & Approach
I hold a Master of Counselling and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision from the University of Waikato. While I welcome professionals across the support sector, I bring specialised experience to those working in school and educational settings and those working with rangatahi (adolescents).
I see supervision as a warm, safe environment that we build together. Rather than a top-down relationship, we work as equal colleagues partnering to look after your practice.
Together, we can:
- Reflect safely: Share the real day-to-day moments of your work and explore how they touch both your professional life and hauora (well-being).
- Unpack your practice: Deconstruct how you think, speak, and act with clients, honouring the unique values, theories, and personal background you bring to your work.
- Anchor in ethics: Explore how your choices connect with your ethics, ensuring your support stays grounded, compassionate, effective and professional.
- Gain fresh perspective: Co-create practical insights and new directions to help you feel inspired and supported in your client work.
I would love to learn what supervision means to you, what past experiences you bring, and how we can best adapt our supervision relationship to serve you.
